SQUIRREL CONTROL

Grey squirrels were introduced into the UK from North America. They have caused a severe reduction in the population of the native red squirrel and are regarding as a pest. Being a rodent squirrels incisors grow continually. They can cause considerable damage to property chewing through cables. They will readily nest in a loft and can cause a lot of damage as well as being very noisy. Squirrels can also damage trees by stripping the bark.

 

TREATMENT

 

If there are squirrels in your home then firstly we will establish how and where they are entering. You will then need to get the hole(s) proofed. Live cage traps will then be set. You will need to check the trap at least once every twelve hours. Once a squirrel is caught you will need to inform me so that I can come and remove the squirrel.
