FLEA CONTROL

Fleas are a parasite and are carried by mammals. If you have mammalian pet e.g. cat or dog they will be the most likely source of fleas in your home. 

 

BEFORE TREATMENT

 

If you own a cat or dog they will need to be treated for fleas by contacting your vet or local pet shop. You will also need to vacuum any carpets, sofas or bedding used by your pet. Once the vacuuming is complete please ensure that the contents of the vacuum are bagged and removed from your property. The treatment will not be successful if treatment of your pet is not carried out.

 

TREATMENT

 

An insecticide spray will need to be carried out to all areas of the property. The property will need to be vacated for three hours after the treatment. No cleaning or vacuuming of the sprayed areas can be carried out for two weeks after the treatment.

Any fish tanks and any other pets must be removed from the room/property during treatment and remain out for three hours afterwards as the chemicals we use may be harmful to them.
